先日、井上醸造さんへ行きました。

ご主人がかわいがっている日本蜜蜂を見に。

I went to Inoue Jozo (miso fermented soybean paste brewery) the other day.

To buy miso?

Nah.

To take a look at the Japanese native bees which the owner cherishes a lot ;-)

プチ蔵開きは約三ヶ月後の１０月２２日（土）に予定しておきます（笑）
I'm going to pickle Japanese plums with some brandy to make a "Umeshu" liquor ;-)
It'll be ready to be served about three months later. I'm scheduling to open the bottle on October 22nd, Saturday.

今週の初めに地獄谷へ今話題のスノーモンキーを見に行きました。
We went to Jigokudani (literally meaning "Hell Valley") to see the snow monkeys ;-)

この春に生まれた猿の赤ちゃんがたくましく生きている姿をみることができました。
I could see how baby monkeys born this spring are living their lives so hard ...





 

先週末は戸狩野沢温泉に向かう途中にある北竜湖に行ってきました♪
We went to Hokuryuko Lake, where is on the way to Togari-nozawa-onsen hot spring ;-)

北竜湖だけでなく、その周辺の自然もとても癒されます。
It's therapeutic not only to see Hokuryuko Lake, but also put our eyes to the nature of the surroundings.

今小中学生が夢中で英単語の書き取りをしたくなる魔のゲーム（笑）、「Word Puzzle」
Now my students in elementary schools and junior high schools are involuntarily engaged in writing English words for this game, "Word Puzzle".

ルールはカンタン♩
Rule is pretty easy ;-)

左右どちらから書いても自由、そして斜めや上下もどちらから書き始めてもOK☆
You can start writing English words from both right to left and left to right, and writing across both right to left and left to right as well.

appleが最初に書いてあるので、まず書くことができるのは "cat, pen, map, old, table ..." 無限大です。
Since it's "apple" there already, you can start off by words like "cat, pen, map, old, table ..." you name it ;-)

単語にingがついたり複数形のsがついてもOK。
You can make words into the progressive form or plural.

得点制で競うなら、deskなら4点、eatなら3点という感じに。ちなみに◎は得点プラス２０点です。各角３回２０点がもらえるわけです。
If you want to play this by keeping scores, each letter gives you one point, so "desk" gives you 4 points and "eat" gives you 3 points. Every time you either start or finish iwth ◎, you get 20 bonus points in addition to normal points. Each corner gives you extra 20 points three times in total.
