８月１日（月） の イングリッシュCafé は平常どおり営業しております♪
異国の地に降り立った宣教師、そんな心境。
語学習得の原点は「家庭」、これをキーワードにこれまで細々とやってきました。
５年以上も続けていれば、賛同してくださる方も増えてきました。
「勉強」こそが語学習得の最も合理的な道だという人もいます。
これまで自分を信じてきたんだから、これからも同様に進んでいきます。

土曜お休み
先日もご案内しましたが、 明日 ７月３０日（土） の イングリッシュCafé は教室行事の為お休みさせていただきます。
語学習得の原点、それは 「家庭」 だと信じています。
そして、語学習得は英語の勉強とは別次元のものです。
一般的な英会話学習とも違います。
語学習得と 「家庭」 に密接な関係が存在するのは、実際に子育てをする中で徐々に確信を持ちつつあります。
衣 食 住 というキーワードが 「家庭」 を構成する要素であることは言うまでもありません。
「家庭」 における コミュニケーション が、言語習得を促します。
身近な例でいえば、料理 があげられます。
準備から調理、盛り付けを経て食事、そして後片付けまで、みんなで行えばおのずと会話が生まれます。
語学習得はそういった日々の家庭内でのやりとりから自然に行われる類のものだと理解しています。
英語の勉強と、英会話の学習、そして語学習得はそれぞれ別の分野といってもいいと思います。
ダイスは、 「語学習得」 の 原点 から アクションを起こします。

制約
I know what I'm supposed to do .
It's natural to do it once things have been decided this far.
Yet I can't move.
I'm capable of doing it.
But I can't.
It's like the memory that I thought I had deleted is still nagging me.
It's been almost ten years .

透明な定規
It's pretty obvious,isn't it ?
We depended way too much on measuring something we were able to see .
The problem is that we could make things up into something visible as well.
It's also a fact that there's no way to measure something when it's not.
In that case , a seniority system would work to evaluate our performance based on something we can't see.
Only if it has the right people to conduct evaluations.

自分に返る
Maybe, you're right.
Maybe, as you say, your friends are to blame.
They might be the source of your problem.
But, here's another problem.
They don't care about you.
They don't have time to waste on your accusations.
Their lives go on without you.
After you're left out, the problem still stays by your side.
It's up to you if you still blame them that they made your life miserable.
Well, let me say this, I'm afraid.
Do whatever you are supposed to do as a student because you seem to have made an excuse for not studying by blaming them that they take your motivation away.
It's not their problem after all.
It's yours.

Colonel と kernel 発音が一緒であるということに相当ショックを受けた一日でした。
colonel のスペルの中に R ないじゃん！ なのに確かに R の音が存在する。
そんなことあり得るのか？ かと頭を悩ませました。
ダイスの お気に入りのオンライン語源辞典では、見事に疑問を解決してくれたので、今夜は静かに眠れそうです。
