I've been fixing PCs for more than 10 years.
パソコンの修理を始めてかれこれ１０年以上になります。
My major in college wasn't even close to IT though, somehow I got along well with it as a part-timer in the computer rooms through my years in college and graduate school.
大学の専攻はITからほど遠い分野だったわけですが、学部生・院生時代にパソコンルームでアルバイトしていたおかげでいろんなスキルを身につけることができました。あとは、うまが合うんですね。
As I recall, I had many good teachers coming one after another.
思ってみれば、これまでパソコンの師と呼べる人にたくさん出会ってこれたおかげなのかもしれません。

As logistics have been developed, fresh seafood can reach the inland like Nagano in a few hours from the coast.
Then, what would decide its tastes?
I come to Attakeshiya Taro when I feel like to have some fresh seafood and also grilled fish.

You can start with whatever you can call it a skill you have at how high its level you are. It sucks first, then it will improve.
You go to a job training and get ready for job, that's fine.
It's just a matter of how determined you are to dive into the blue with only what you've got. It's a pure gamble, I know.
But we, categorized as the youth, don't have many opportunities which your contribution might affect outcomes of the organization, do we? We're not needed by the society that much anymore because we're useless at work.
I think we're more useful than the older generations think. We just don't have chances to prove that.
So, why don't we start whatever people might find useful from now on? I know it's worth it.
I'd be happy to tell you my story on this ;-)

Tomato I planted this summer still hasn't had any flowers.
It's green.
I think I've given enough fertilizer and all, but it doesn't seem to work...

成人の生徒さんたちを集めて教室の新年会をしました♪
My hibachi played an important role.
ここでも火鉢が大活躍！
We cooked everything with it and enjoyed eating and drinking ;-)
調理はすべてこれで（笑）　あとは飲んだり食べたりして楽しく時間を過ごしました♪

It was my first marathon in my life.
人生初のフルマラソンでした。
A few month ago I ran half marathon and that was it.
数か月前にはハーフマラソンを走ってそれきりでした。
When I passed 20 km line, I was nearly crying wondering how far I came along.
２０ｋｍ地点を通過したとき、自分の成長ぶりにあやうく涙しそうでした。
Anyways, I finished it.
それでもなんとか走り終えることができました。
I can't forget that moment, because I realized I was much better than I'd thought ;-)
忘れることのできない瞬間でした。
正直自分がここまで頑張れるとは思えなかったので（笑）

Spending night at the nearest hotel from the airport, we charged some energy before we join the marathon tomorrow ;-)
マラソンを明日にひかえ、エネルギー補給も兼ねて、空港に一番近いホテルに泊まりました。

I was really lucky today ;-)
本当に運が良かったです。
I was heading to Watahan over Tanbajimabashi Bridge to buy a knee supporter.
ひざサポーターを買いに丹波島橋を越えて綿半に向かっていました。
When I finished shopping and came out of the shop, I realized there was this van providing free Chicken Ramen.
買い物を終えてお店からでてくると、チキンラーメンの無料試食を配っている車があることに気づきました。
Since I was a bit hungry, so it was very nice timing.
ちょうどおなかもすいてきていたので、素晴らしいタイミングでした☆

You don't have many ways of studying.
勉強するには手段は限られる。
You read, write and memorize.
読む、書く、そして暗記する。
It's hard. Soon you forget.
たいがい辛い。そして忘れる。
Learning is fun.
学ぶのは楽しい。
You have millions of ways.
そしてたくさんの方法が存在する。
There's no stress if you can find your most suitable way of learning things.
自分にあった学び方を見つければ、辛くない。
You never forget what you've learned because it's your experience and memory.
学んだことは経験や思い出になる。だから忘れない。
Study or learn, it's up to you ;-)
だから勉強はやめて学ぼう！

Tangerine is a Japanese soul food in winter.
冬のみかんは日本人にとって欠かせないものですよね。
We can do without it though, we don't feel like spending time in winter.
別になくたって別に困らないわけですが、やはりないと冬って感じがしない。
That's how we miss it if we don't have it.
ないとないで寂しいものですが。

Pedaling a bicycle in snow needs your guts.
自転車をこぐのは結構度胸がいります。特に雪道は。
Even if it starts slipping, you immediately have to respond and fix the handle's direction to the other side of sliding, and keep pedaling till you get out of this situation.
スリップし始めても、すぐに反応して滑る方向と逆にハンドルをきって、あとはその状況から抜け出すまでこぎ続ける。
I think that's cool ;-)
なんかかっこよくないですか？（笑）

At cafe rubbersoul, you can have a nice French food.
カフェラバーソウルで結構本格的なフレンチが味わえる。
It's not just a cafe.
そう、ただのカフェじゃないんです。
I'm sure the owner is hiding his identity or something.
きっとカフェのオーナーはただものじゃないんです。
When I feel like having French dish, I go there ;-)

For the past few months, I've been trying to cook as many dishes as possible on hibachi.
ここ数か月、火鉢ではどんな料理ができるのか色々試しています。
What I cooked the latest was yakiudon or pan-fried noodle.
先日は焼きうどんにチャレンジ♪
It was so nice ;-)

Such a mysterious mineral.
　なんて不思議な鉱物なんだろう。

It's really nice to learn how each type of crystal works if you have it.
　種類ごとにどんな効果が期待できるのかを知るのはとても楽しい。

The more properties I learn, the more interested I am.
　価値の上がる要素を学べば学ぶほど、もっと興味が湧いてくる。

These statues don't need a hat.
べつに石像に帽子は要らないんですがね。

Is it for a decoration? Maybe not.
飾り？たぶんそうではないでしょう。

Presumably, it's a religious respect to them.
おそらくは信仰心からの行いかな、と。

Yet, these Buddha statues look great in the strow hats.
それにしても笠をかぶったお地蔵さんがずいぶんとさまになっていること。

If our water changes, so our life does.
水が変わると、生活も変わります。

Luckily, people in Nagano widely have access to natural water.
幸運にも、信州人には天然水がとても身近です。

Going out to get one is also a part of excitement ;-)
水を汲みに行くというのも楽しみの一つになります☆

This is what we all love in my family when we make rice cake.
お餅つきの時、うちの家族の誰もが好きなものといえばこれ。

It's just steamed rice though, it tastes so good with soy sauce ;-)
ただの炊きたてのもち米のご飯なんですが、これが醤油をかけると本当に美味しいんです♪

Once we eat small part of whole steamed rice, we put it into the pot and start making rice cake.
あと残りは臼にあけ、それからお餅をつき始めます。

It was breathtaking.
息を呑みました。

Those mountains I've known for a very long time looked different today.
ずーっと昔から知っていたはずの山々が今日はまったく別物のように感じました。

The view was crystal clear.
空気が澄んでいてとても景色がくっきりとしていました。

I was lucky.
ラッキーでした☆

Grilling some rice cakes is fun, but at the same time care must be taken as well.
Since I'm using the Hibachi charcoal stove, it needs techniques not to burn rice cakes ;-)

We as those who live in Nagano have access to natural clean water.
That's a good thing.
I stopped by this natural water point on the way back from Maguse onsen hot spring.
It's always grateful to have chance to know natural things.
