I'm looking down a carrot growing out of its garbage.
生ごみとして処理されずに葉っぱが出てきたニンジンを見下ろす。
It's still alive.
この命はまだ生きている。
As it is so, I decided to take care of it in the pot in which I grow a tulip ;-)

I won one today.
今日はとりあえず一勝。
It was a small fight, I won.
小さい闘いだったけど、勝ちは勝ち。
This way I got to challenge myself.

I'm going to run at Inuyama 10km run.
犬山ハーフマラソン大会で10キロ走る予定。
The distance doesn't bother me at all.
距離は全然余裕。
I'll just enjoy running and watching sceneries :-)
ただ走ることと景色を楽しむこと、それだけ。

It gives you strength for doing something.
何かをするのに力を与えてくれる。
When you're sick, you need it, of course.
具合が悪い時に必要な栄養だっていうのはもちろんのこと。
When you're down, you'll gain some energy from it.
気分が滅入っているときにも力となってくれる。
It's not good to take it in too much.

I've never felt sure about my being happy.
自分が今ハッピーかどうか、確信をもったことはないんですが、
It's not that I've never tried to be.
別にハッピーになる努力をしたことがないわけじゃないんです。
Now it's all natural and not only mine but happy mood is in the air, which extraordinarily makes me happy.
ただ、今ごく自然にハッピーで、しかも周囲からそんな雰囲気が漂ってきていて、それもさらにハッピーに感じる要因でもあります。

They might look not as good as I expect at first.
シアワセって、最初は期待通りにはいかないことが多いんですが、
I'm happy as long as they come along at the end of the day.
最後にシアワセが訪れてくれれば終わりよければすべてよし、という感じです。

Trimming a picture on PC is such an easy task.
パソコンで画像のトリミングって簡単ですよね～。
You do it for letting it fit into a space.
要はスペースにはめ込むだけ、という感じ。
What about a human being?
でも人に当てはめてみるとどうでしょうか？
You surely can't trim yourself to blend in an environment, can you?
周りに溶け込むために画像のトリミングみたいに自分をちょうどいいカタチにトリミング、無理ですよね（笑）
You actually shouldn't in the first place.
まぁ、そんなこと考えること自体ナンセンスか．．．

This beef stew at Orca is awesome.
オルカさんのビーフシチューは最高です。
You'll go wordless as soon as you start eating and keep doing it until you empty the plate.
一度食べだすと、お皿が空になるまで無言でなってしまいます。
How many of you has had beef stew which you can see actual chunks of beef in it?
ビーフシチューで実際に牛肉のかたまりが入っているものが一体どれだけあるのか...

I got to accept how delicious rice cake was quite recently.
お餅がこんなにおいしい食べ物だということを最近認めざるを得なくなった。
The way I used to grill it was wrong after all?
今まで焼き方がまずかったのだろうか？
It's pretty damn good to grill it on hibachi.
火鉢で焼くとどうしてこう美味しくなるのか。

Marshmallow.
I'd never even thought about grilling it on my hibachi before we actually tried that.
It needed some practice to be able to grill it well.
Once you get used to it, you can grill it in a way that it's creamy inside and elastic outside ;-)
