安保関連法
Honestly, I'm more comfortable with sticking to the key ideas of the constitution of Japan.
We're not allowed to have any military power.
If soldiers from another country suddenly appeared and started killing people, it couldn't be helped.
We would have already changed the constitution if we had decided to take an action about our own safety.

教育の限界
School isn't a place for education anymore.
It's long drowned in a sea of information.
The critical fact that we pretend not to know is that teachers don't know everything like they used to be believed to.
Growing number of parents are more educated than most of teachers.
Related to this, less and less parents educate their children to respect teachers.
Teaching looses its meaning if students stop listening to what their teachers have to say.
So, education is now pushed to the edge.
New education has to save both teachers and children, and re-educate parents and teachers.
Children need education more than ever.

明日 ８月２９日（土） の イングリッシュCafe は平常どおりです♪
餌って、純粋に英語にできないですよね。
犬の餌だと dog food
猫の餌だと cat food
ところが、 fish food が魚の餌かというとそうではなくて、多くの場面で「魚料理」になってしまう。
金魚の餌と表現したい場合には、 dry fish food とか flake food for fish が適当ですね。
釣りの最中に、魚の餌のことを英語でいうときは、bait ですね。

戦争の矛盾
We are educated to respect each other.
We aren't supposed to hurt each other.
We are punished if we kill.
So are we if we hurt someone.
We are told not to do things we don't want others to do to us.
Under the name of law, we are justified to hurt others.
We are even awarded depending on how many people each of us killed.
We don't need a government which tells us to kill.

親の責任
Minors aren't supposed to go out late at night.
Why?
Because it's dangerous.
They may get into a life-threatening situation if they wander about in mid-night.
Recently, a boy and a girl got into the very situation as they did roam about in the dead of night in Osaka.
Needless to say, the killer is to blame for what he did to them.
Of course, I show my condolences to the victims and their families.
Here's just what I am wondering about this whole case.
Why did their parents let them end up with wandering about in the midnight in the first place?
Is it only me to think that this accident could have been avoided?

成長の速さ
I'm overwhelmed by the speed of growth of my baby girl.
Her brain seems to have been developing so fast that I can't keep up.
She won't remember what have been happening lately though, something will be absorbed into her.

We all need a little time away from what we do.
Why?
That's because our perspectives get to fix if we just carry on for too long.
Fresh ideas always need to kick in if you want to run whatever you do like no others.
Fixed ideas don't only cloud our judgement, but also doom us.

ちなみに、午後には門前におりますが、専門学校にて講義が入っているためメールなどにお返事できるのは16時以降になります。

When you get someone to do things, all you need to do is explain and let this person do whatever it is.
If he doesn't know how, train him.
That's all.
It's just nonsense to keep complaining because someone is unexperienced or not trained.
This is exactly how many of the Japanese corporations failed to incubate their people...
I'll be a trainer as well as a constant learner.

Sometimes, your interpretation could be completely wrong.
Lucky if you realize your own mistake at some point.

A: "I love this job. It makes me realize who I am. This is it."
今の仕事は最高だよ。俺が俺でいられるっていうのかな。これが俺の天職なんだよ。
B: "Are you sure this is it? Your job seems to be just letting your family fall apart."
お前本気か？今の仕事のせいで家庭がどんどん壊れて行っているように思えるけどな。
A: "You are wrong! They do perfectly understand what I do and live happily together."
そんなことないって！家族は俺のことをよく理解してくれているし、一緒に住んでいて幸せなんだよ。

Sometimes, you feel it's just lucky to have someone around.
However, that someone might be the one whom you are meant to meet.
The question is if it's a matter of luck to meet somebody or if it's someone whom you are supposed to come across sooner or later.
I'm sure nobody could possibly understand what I'm talking about though.
