親の立場
Poor students usually have the same kind of parents.
成績の低い生徒には、両親に共通点が見られる。
Those parents look down on teachers of their children.
両親が教師を軽視しているという点だ。
They hear their parents say bad impressions towards their teachers.
子どもは両親の教師に対する態度をちゃんと聞いている。
Of course, teachers have to work hard on what they do.
無論、教師が職務能力の向上に努めるのは当然のことだろう。
At the same time, parents should encourage their children to pay respect to their teachers.
それと同時に、両親は内心がどうであれ、頑として教師に対して敬意を払うように子どもに伝えるようにすべきだと思う。

反省
It was my fault, really.
完全にこっちに非がある出来事でした。
I was so shocked, because this person suddenly started blaming me for what I have done.
ものすごいショックだったのは、こちらが謝罪をする前に非難を突如開始したことです。
What if I have a common close friend of that person?
その方に共通の親しい友人がいたりしたら？
What if that person comes across as one of my students?
その方がこの先自分の生徒として現れたりしたら？

変わった？
Any progress so far since I hit 32?
32歳になって何か変わったのだろうか？
I thought I was not going to change in any ways just because an extra year topped up.
たかが1年加わったからって、別段何かが変わるとは思っていなかった。
That was wrong.
が、それは間違いだった。
The more celebration I went through, the heavier pressures I got on my shoulders.
お祝いをしていただくごとに、肩にのしかかってくるプレッシャーが重くなってくるのを感じた。
Are they responsibilities that I'm recognizing?

Cats are good at finding their favorite spots.
猫はお気に入りの場所を見つけるのが得意だ。

気に入らなければ、他へ移ればいいだけ。
They also know our favorite spots.
猫は、ニンゲンのお気に入りの場所も知っている。
We watch them, so they do.

Lack of rest cause so many unexpected errors in your brain.
休息の欠如は、意外なほど脳の中でエラーを起こす。
Rest I mean by is to rest until you forget about your work.
休息は、仕事を頭の中から追い出すまで休んで初めて休息と呼べると思います。
Quality of your work drops if you start being obsessed with it.
仕事が頭の中を支配すればするほど、仕事の質は落ちる。

相手本位で
It's not about me after all.
結局は自分じゃないんだなって思います。
Defining who I am and perceiving for what I do are always others.
自分のキャラや、他人へ与えている印象って、他人が決めてますよね。
That sounds a bit depressing though, I think it's necessary to recognize what and who I am involves others.
そうなると気がめいりそうにもなるんですが、他人の存在で自分の存在が定まってくるものだっていうことを認めるのも大事かなって。
How am I doing so far?
そういう意味では、今の自分はうまくやっているのだろうか？
結局は自分じゃないんだなって思います。

限界へ挑戦
I could push my limit even further.
限界をある程度引きのばすことはできるのかもしれない。
I've never felt it so far though, it seems to be telling me something lately.
限界というものを感じたことはないが、なんとなく最近意識するようになった。
I'm not sure if it's there so that I can see.
限界が見えてきたかといえば、そうでもない。
It's not right in front of me yet, but it's there...

It might not be appropriate to steal them as they are.
アイディアをそのまま盗むのは良くないことだと思います。
At least, I made efforts to make them better.

Weight of life is equal to everyone, I believe.
命の重さはみんな一緒だと信じている。
It can't be any lighter, however it can be otherwise...
軽んじられることは許されないが、命は人より重くなることはあるのかもしれない。

Your best English learning environment might not only be in English speaking countries, but also in your country, Japan.
最適な英語学習環境は、なにも英語圏だけとは限らない気がします。日本だって十分いい環境なんじゃないかって。
Our traditional cultures can also be our English teachers.
日本の伝統文化だって、私たちにとっては英語の先生になりうるのかも。
Going through our cultural events all in English will take us somewhere.
日本の伝統行事をひと通り英語でやってみるのって、案外勉強になるかもしれません。
