ビッグプッチンプリンは無事にお皿におさまりました☆The big Pucchinpurin pudding successfully did fit in the plate ;-)
ここで on the plate ではなく in the plate を使ったのは、in には範囲や領域の中という意味があり、お皿の範囲からはみ出ずにおさまったことを強調するためです。

プッチン？
先日スーパーでビッグなプッチンプリンを発見、衝動買い。I bought a big Pucchinpurin pudding at the supermarket the other day. I just felt like rushing to buy it for no reason.
いざお皿をセットしプッチンしようとしてフリーズ。
I set a dish to get the pudding inside onto it and pondered.
これ、大丈夫か？？？
Is this going to be okay???

空覆う花火
先日のえびす講の花火で印象に残ったのは、同時に打ち上げられた画面におさまりきらないほど大きな花火たちです。What impressed me the most at Ebisuko Fireworks Festival the other day was a simultaneous explosion of several fireworks in the sky which couldn't fit within the finder of my camera.

新鮮 太郎
善光寺を南に下ったところにある大門の交差点の角にパティオ大門があります。There's Patio Daimon shopping center around the corner of the intersection called "Daimon" down south from Zenkoji Buddhist temple.
その中にある あったかめし屋 太郎 さんは、長野市内でも有数の新鮮なお刺身がいただけるお店です♫
Attakameshiya Taro Japanese food restaurant and izakaya bar sits in there and is one of the best restaurants specialized in fresh sashimi raw fish in Nagano City.
ブリの大トロなんて始めて食べました☆
I had Ootoro part of yellowtail or amberjack for the first time today ;-)

もうすぐ１２月。もう冬です。
It's winter now, isn't it? It's going into December pretty soon.
そんな中、結構家の軒先できれいに咲いているバラを見かけます。
Having said that, I see roses blooming beautifully in front of houses quite often.

今日パティオ大門の入り口で一目ぼれした大根です。

もちろん早速お持ち帰り、そしておいしくいただきました♪
I brought it back home right away and had it gently, of course ;-)

先輩
吉野家に来ると必ずある先輩のことを思い出します。Yoshinoya Gyudon restaurant (Gyudon is a rice bowl topped with stewed beef) reminds me of a senior student at college every time I come here.
いろんなところへ連れて行ってもらったな、としみじみ思います。
He took me to various places. I feel nostalgic when I recall that.
そんな彼が来年結婚式を挙げます。絶対に行かなければと思います。
He is going to hold his wedding celemony next year. I'm feeling "I MUST ATTEND" strongly.

朝日と大黒
この辺り一帯は昔「大黒」と呼ばれていたそうです。People used to call this area "Daikoku" long time ago.
朝日山の中腹に丸い山が見えますが、それが大黒山というそうです。
In the middle of Asahiyama mountain, you can see a round hill. That's called "Daikokuyama mountain".
長野中央郵便局の横に大国主神社がありますが、大黒天をまつっています。
There's Ookuninushi jinja Shinto shrine next to Nagano Chuo Central Post Office. Its main image is Daikokuten god.
どうやら、大国主命と大黒天は同一と考えられているようですね。
It seems that Ookuninushi-no-mikoto and Daikokuten are regarded as one.
実に興味深い。

道具です。
１１月２３日（水）に初の試みで「英会話教室コンパ」なるイベントの講師を務めさせていただきました。
I joined an English-speaking event as a lecturer on November 23rd, 2011. The funny part is that this event was meant to be for people who were looking for a partner ;-)

ダイスは、この日ほど英語はあくまで人と人がつながるツール（道具）にしかすぎないんだなーと感じたことはありませんでした。

そうです。英語は単なる道具なんです。道具は使って初めて価値があります。
Oh, yes. English is just a tool. It's worthwhile when you start using it.

温まる味☆
イングリッシュ Cafe をはじめてはや２ヶ月。善光寺門前は東町、カフェ ラバーソウル がダイスにとって日常の一部になっている。
It's been already two months since the English Cafe project launched at cafe rubbersoul. This cafe, located in Higashimachi, Monzen or the area in the neighborhood of Zenkoji Buddhist temple, is becoming a part of my daily life.
これから寒くなるばかりの門前で、朝の一杯のコーヒーは温まる。
This cup of coffee in the morning really warms me up as it's getting brutally colder and colder here.
今日は定番のモーニングにスープセットが登場。
Today, I'm so happy to share the news with you. From today, cafe rubbersoul launched new breakfast menu with soup.
雪がちらついた今朝の冷え込みを忘れさせてくれる野菜たっぷりのミネストローネスープが嬉しい。
When I'm having this minestrone soup with chunky vegetables in it, I can do without feeling any shiver especially in a morning like this with a dusting of snow.

上品な時間
基本的には松本での午後からのレッスンの準備の時間になっている（笑）金曜日の朝。Basically, Friday morning, it's a prep time for lessons in Matsumoto in the afternoon.
え？？いいんですよ。徐々に浸透して来年の四月にはどの曜日もだいたい均等に人が出入りするようになれば♫
Huh? Oh, it's okay.
I'll be expecting more people coming in and going out rather gradually each day by next April.
カフェ ラバーソウル の朝はダイスにとってウォーミングアップの時間です☆
It's a warming up time for me to be sitting in cafe rubbersoul in the morning ;-)

以前エムウェーブの近くにもあったんですよね、山小屋。Yes, it's Yamagoya. This curry and rice restaurant was also near M-Wave, which is one of the former Olympic Winter Games stadiums.
