Luckily, people in Nagano widely have access to natural water.
幸運にも、信州人には天然水がとても身近です。

Going out to get one is also a part of excitement ;-)
水を汲みに行くというのも楽しみの一つになります☆

木島平村にある　龍興寺清水（りゅうこうじしみず）　にはいつもお世話になっています。
I can't thank enough this Ryuukoji-shimizu water source in Kijimadaira-Mura Village, Nagano Prefecture.

要は湧水です。
You can get natural water here.

煮沸は必要ありません。がぶがぶ飲めます。
You don't need to boil it. Just gulp it down straight.

大体１か月で汲んだ分は飲み切りますが、直射日光をさけて保存すれば１年は余裕でしょう。
It usually takes about a month to finish all the jars though, I'm sure you can keep it for more than one year in a dark place.

飲用、炊飯、料理用途で使っていますが、大変満足しています。
I use it for drinking, rice-cooking, and cooking in general and I'm very happy with it.



日本昔話の原風景を切り抜いたような写真ですが、実際は水汲み場があります。
It's like I cut out from the original scene from the Japanese old story though, you can find the faucets to fill your tanks.



この近くにもう一つ水源があるんですが、これについてはまた次回♪
Actually, there's another water source around here. I'll tell you in more detail next time ;-)

建物の裏には源泉ではなく、湧き水がありました♪
What we found was not its source, but another natural water source ;-)



大量に湧き出していました。
Water was coming out with great amount. 

名水龍ヶ窪yugakubo water source




新潟県の津南町にある日本名水１００選にも選ばれている龍ヶ窪。
Ryugakubo. It's a famous water source chosen as one of the top 100 water source in Japan. It lies in Tsunan, Niigata Prefecture.



景色を眺めながら、きっとこの辺りの食べ物はさぞ美味しいんだろうなと思った。
As I was gazing over the field around Tsunan, I thought food around here must be so nice with no doubt.

腹薬の清水（はらぐすりのしみず）
Haragusuri-no-shimizu Water Source



去年の１１月に軽く遭難しかけて以来だろうか？久々に飯山市の信濃平スキー場の近くにある　腹薬の清水　に行ってきました☆
Was it last November when I almost got lost in the deep snow? It's been a while indeed. I went to Haragusuri-no-shimizu water source near Shinanodaira ski field in Iiyama City for the first time in half a year.



相変わらずの水量と水温にはあらためてびっくり！
I was again overwhelmed by how plenty the water is running and how cold it is.



またしばらくはこの水源にお世話になります。
I would visit here as often as possible to get some more.

今日は雨が降る前に、と早起きして木島平村の龍興寺の清水へ水汲みに。
I got up early in the morning and went to the Ryukoji-no-shimizu water source in Kijimadaira-mura Village to get some water before it rained.

すでに結構人が水を汲んでいたので、待っている間被写体を探していました☆
Since I saw many people getting the water already, I walked around to look for a nice scene ;-)

 

主に料理に長野県内のわき水を使いはじめてもう５ヶ月近くになります。
It's been almost five months since I started to use the natural water in Nagano Prefecture for cooking, mainly.

今までは　腹薬の清水（はらぐすりのしみず）　を使っていましたが、前回水を汲みに行くのに雪の中で命がけだったことを鑑み春になるまであの水を断念していました。
I've been using the Haragusuri-no-shimizu water though, I gave that up until this spring because I had to get through the vast amount of snow to get to the water point risking my life.

なので今回は別の場所、木島平村にある　龍興寺の清水（りゅうこうじのしみず）を目指しました。
So this time we headed to another water source Ryukoji-no-shimizu in kijimadairamura Village.

とにかく雪が心配でしたが、幸い水汲み場周辺に雪はなく無事水を入手しました☆
Even though I had been worried about the snow, there almost was no snow around the water source, so we safely got the water.　










 

やっとのことで水を汲むことができました。
We finally got the water!

大事に使おうっと。
We'll use it wisely ;-)

歩けばなんでもない距離が、雪に体力を奪われる…
It's just nothing to walk up here though, snow gets in the way and makes us tired enormously...

２週間ぶりに飯山の腹薬の清水（はらぐすりのしみず）に水を汲みに行ってきました♩
We went to the Haragusuri-no-shimizu natural water source in Iiyama City since we went there two weeks ago ;-)

前回は雨が降っていて写真をご紹介できませんでしたが、今回は全体も写してみました☆
Though I couldn't show you any pictures as it was raining, I'll show you ones including allover picture :-)





 

来週末と再来週末にはいろいろと用事があり水を汲みに行けそうにないので、今日急遽 「腹薬の清水」へ行ってきました♪
Since I have stuffs to do next weekend and the next so that I won't be able go to the Haragusuri-no-simizu water source, I went there today.

今回カモシカには遭遇しませんでしたが、水辺の生き物とヒト、そして旬の味覚に出会いました☆
Although I didn't encounter any Kamoshika or Japanese serows, I came across a tiny life by the water, humans and the food of the season ;-)









 

先週水を汲んできてからおなかの調子がすこぶるいい腹薬清水（はらぐすりしみず）のお水。
I've been enjoying my healthy stomach condition since I started using the water from the water source "Haragusuri-shimizu" in Iiyama City in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture.

このお水でご飯を炊いたり、お味噌汁を作ったりと大活躍♪
I used this water to cook rice and miso soup ;-)

今日またお水を汲んできました♪
So, I went there again to get some water ;-)







 

こんな湧き水があったなんて驚きです！
I'm totally overwhelmed by the existence of the water source like this!

信濃平スキー場のすぐ近くにその清水はあります。昔、おなかをこわした旅人がその湧き水を飲んで回復したという伝説があります。
It's in the neighborhood of Shinanodaira ski resort. The legend says a traveller who had a stomachache drank the water and then recovered right away.

今日は８リットルの水をゲット！これでしばらくは一味違うご飯とお味噌汁が楽しめそうです♪
Today, I got 8 litre of water there! I hope that I can enjoy rice and miso soup cooked with it ;-)
