All parents tell their children to do the right things.

As a matter of fact we don't.

Does that make us bad children?

It doesn't.

Going against the authority is our first step to get independent.

Our parents are the first one to fight against.

If our parents are able to provide us with living, food, clothing forever, we wouldn't have to do that.

In fact, they won't be there for us some day, a lot sooner than we imagine, I guess.

We are supposed to be independent before that ever happens.

It's time that both parents and their children grew up and moved on for their own good.
