I arrived at the approach to Zenkoji Buddhist temple in time and enjoyed the atmosphere of Tomyo Matsuri (Paper lantern festival) ;-)

地獄谷野猿公園を出てコンクリートの階段を下ると、間欠泉の周りに氷の壁ができていました。
Out of Jigokudani Yaen Koen (Snow Monkey Park) and down the concrete stairs, I noticed there was an ice wall surrounding the geyser.



そしてふと足元のほうに目を向けると．．．、猿？
When I looked down a bit, ...? A monkey????

パイプが温かいのだろうか？
Is this pipe warm? I wonder. 

誕生日当日、地獄谷野猿公園に行ってきました☆
I went to Jigokudani Yaen Koen (Snow Monkey Park) on my birthday ;-)





人に群がる猿？　いや、猿に群がる人が正しいですね。
Monkeys crowded around humans? No, it should be humans crowded around the monkeys.







それにしても、お猿さんたちは気持ちよさそうに温泉に浸かっています。
Look at them. They look very happy when they are in the onsen pool.

でもあれだけ至近距離に人間がカメラをかまえて難しい顔をしているのに、お猿さんたち怖くないんでしょうか。
Being surrounded by bunch of humans holding camera and looking difficult, are they not scared??? 

先日偶然発見した　「公園のベンチ」　というイタリアンのお店。
I happened to go past this Italian restaurant "Koen no Bench" the other day.

秘伝のデミグラスソースの乗ったハンバーグも気になりましたが、それは次回ということで。
I also wanted to order the beef patty with the special demi-glace though, I'll come back next time for this.

ピザもパスタも大満足でした。
I had the controversial cream pasta though, I actually liked it a lot. It really depends on your taste. I quite liked the pasta, too ;-)



本気のデザートにも舌鼓☆
They serve really nice desserts like a three-star restaurant.

 

土曜の昼＠カフェ バーバラ
At cafe barbara for lunch this Saturday.

インドカレー専門店顔負け、というかそんじょそこらのカレーやさんがかすんでしまうほど美味しいカレーライスがそこにはありました。
There we found an extremely delicious curry, which might beat some restaurants specialized in Indian curry or make ordinary curry restaurants blur.

前から気になっていたお店 「公園のベンチ」 に来てしまいました♫
I came to "Koen no bench" at last ;-) It's an Italian restaurant and it's where I always wanted to come here every time I went past.
