見るたびにぐんぐん成長していくイチゴ☆
The strawberries have been growing healthily each time I take a look ;-)

結果の出にくい最近の社会で、一所懸命育てていれば成長が見てとれる植物はとても気持ちのいいものだ。
It makes me very happy that I can see its growth after a series of delicate and thorough care in such a society that it's extremely hard to see results.

 

２０１１年度の日本の予算は約９２兆円だったそうなんですが、実際は支出のほうが多くて最終的に約２３兆円の赤字だったようです。
The Japanese annual budget in fiscal 2011 was about 92 trillion yen, but actual expenditure exceeded income, so it turned out to be a dificit of about 23 trillion yen.

これ、家族旅行にたとえると、喫茶店を経営するお父さんが「来月はいっぱい稼いで、１００万円使ってヨーロッパ一周するぞ！」と意気込み、実際に行ってきたとします。
If you put this situation into another example, let's look at a father who runs a cafe and wants to take his family to a tour to Europe for 1million yen, expecting to earn a lot the next month. Let's assume they went there and came back.

ただその喫茶店、最近あまりお客さんの入りがよくありません。
However this cafe doesn't have many customers lately.

するとその月の喫茶店の収入は２５万円の赤字、結局渡航費用や海外滞在中の支払いはすべてクレジットカードというありさま。
Then, it turned out that he had made a deficit of 250 thousand yen that month, so he paid their air tickets and all that by credit card.

普通みなさんならまずそのヨーロッパ旅行をやめさせますよね？
I suppose you would not let the trip to Europe happen, would you?

そしてもし現状を理解していたら、家族でお店の手伝いをしたり、アルバイトをしたりして生計を助けますよね？
Well, if you understand the current situation, you would help the cafe or simply work elsewhere for a part time. Right?

そう考えると、お父さん＝日本政府は超貧乏で、その家族＝政治家は生活の不安は皆無というアンバランスな家族だということがいえませんか？？？
I can't help but think how unbalanced this family is in terms of financial status, because the father = the government is financially fucked up and his family = politicians are wealthy. What do you think?
